Are there any plans to create an HDF-EOS 5 Fortran90/95 module?

The HDF-EOS developers may know.
I will send your message to them. |

Another thing, as far as I know, you can write a fortran program with HDF-EOS5.Fortran 90/95 compiler can handle that.

HDF-EOS5 supports fortran90/95. It does not have real Fortran code, but the fortran wrappers work fine with f77, f90 and f95. We do not have plans to create fortran module.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, I'm aware the current HDFEOS5 libraries can be used in F95 source code and am, in fact, doing so. Admittedly, I'm a bit disappointed to hear that a F95 module is not in the works. I am not sure how to interpret this though. For instance in the worse case, this fact may imply that the HDFEOS project is not committed to providing support for Fortran. Could the existing Fortran support disappear in the future?
